AL580XL Power Wheelchair Lift by Harmar
The Harmar AL580XL is an ideal option for transporting power wheelchairs with larger wheels, as it features a padded arm and license plate mount. The lift is compatible with Mid-wheel Power Chairs that have 14" drive wheels and vehicles with a Class III hitch size. No modifications are needed for your power wheelchair before placing it onto the lift, and no straps or tie-downs are necessary as the padded arm secures it in place.
Additionally, the AL580XL has a low profile at the back of your vehicle, providing an unobstructed rear view. The lift is one of the more compact and lightweight options available on the market and folds up automatically when not in use. The manual crank backup and license plate mount are additional convenient features.
Despite its compact size, this lift doesn't compromise on any features. It efficiently works with mid-wheel drive chairs without requiring any adjustments to the chair. You can rest assured that your chair is securely attached to the vehicle.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN ORDERING THIS LIFT:
If you choose professional installation for the Harmar lift, opting for the battery pack option is mandatory. However, we also recommend choosing the battery pack even if you don't go for professional installation. Installing the hardwire kit, which connects the lift to the car battery, can be challenging if you lack mechanical expertise. On the other hand, the battery pack lets you install the lift with an external battery system, although it requires frequent recharging.
It's important to note that the power chair must have fold-back arms to be compatible with the lift. Additionally, many states, including CA, AZ, NV, CO, UT, ND, SD, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, HI, AK, FL, TX, and AL, require displaying the license plate on the lift's exterior. It's your responsibility to comply with your state's laws.

Warranty Information for the AL580XL Power Wheelchair Lift
HARMAR VEHICLE LIFT WARRANTY
Harmar Mobility warrants its lift products against defects in material, mechanical and electrical components (parts), excluding labor cost, batteries, paint and covers, for a period of three (3) years from date of retail purchase, provided that the products have been installed, maintained and operated properly. This warranty does not cover defects in vehicles on which Harmar products are installed or defects in Harmar products caused by defects in any part of the vehicle upon which the product is installed. This warranty does not cover maintenance or adjustments. Harmar will not be charged for labor, consequential damage or repair expenses. Harmar will not, under any circumstances, be liable for the loss of the use of its products or loss of time. This warranty becomes null and void if the product has been lost, damaged by accident, over-stressed, misused and/ or neglected, or if the product has been modified in any way. Defective parts must be returned, prepaid, to Harmar at the address listed above, for inspection prior to credit, repair or replacement, at Harmar’s option. Harmar’s sole obligation and the exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to such credit, repair or replacement.
This Express Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties or conditions, including all implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and there are no warranties that extend beyond the description of the limited warranty described herein. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.
