GoLite Portable Mobility Scooter Lift
This powerful design is created to do the heavy lifting for you. It helps prevent injury as it lifts your up-to-100 pound mobility wheelchair into your vehicle. It is a stand-alone lift and is not required to be attached to your car. Weighing in at only 25 pounds including it’s battery, the lift is purposefully easy to carry because GoLite’s owners know that if one could carry a lot more, a lift wouldn't be needed in the first place.
The lift itself has a 28.5-inch long and 16-inch wide lift platform. When collapsed it’s dimensions are 29.5 inches long, 18.9 inches wide and 9 inches tall. This size is easily accommodated in most cars, vans, or trucks. It is, however, recommended that you strap the seatbelt around the lift when placing the lift in the back seat of a car.
The lift can be stored anywhere where it fits, but the removable battery must be stored out of freezing temperatures. Otherwise, it will wear the 24V-5Ah lithium-ion battery down sooner than necessary.
In addition, it comes with an off-board charger that takes about 5 hours to fully charge and can provide up to 250 lift cycles. All you need to do to charge is connect the charge adapter to the battery and cable into any electrical outlet. You are able to charge the battery up to 600 times. The charger is not interchangeable with other chargers as this could damage the battery.
Importantly, the 24V-5AH lithium-ion battery meets airline travel requirements, being rated for 120 watt-hours and comes with the UN38.3 Test Report and MSDS.
